The Propulsion Planning & Analysis team at FedEx is looking to improve its forecasting capabilities for auxiliary power units (APUs) within its aircraft fleet. The FedEx Tauber Team has been tasked with developing an Excel-based model that will improve the capabilities of predicting APU removals and subsequent maintenance costs.
