Since 2021, Emerson has achieved a 44% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Beyond Scope 1 and 2, Emerson has also committed to a 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030, with the ultimate goal of a 90% reduction across all scopes by 2045. To support this initiative, Emerson has partnered with the Tauber Institute for Global Operations to better understand how Emerson’s Scope 3 targets and their suppliers’ sustainability performance align, by building a model and roadmap to highlight high-impact emissions reduction actions and opportunities.
